Cougars Online

The Cariboo Cougars became the first team in the BC Major Midget League to broadcast their regular season home games on a permanent basis. Beginning with the 2009/2010 playoffs, Alex Rawnsley broadcast Cougars games live online from Kin 1 Arena in Prince George. This continued through the 2010/2011 regular season, as Alex was joined by Jerome LaMarre, and later Tyler Sabourin in bringing Cariboo Cougar hockey to the world. The Cougars broadcast 22 games in the 2010/2011 season, including the BCMML Finals series against the Giants in Vancouver.

For the 2011/2012 season, Jeff Sargeant took over the broadcasting duties, after Alex moved to Powell River and broadcast for the BCHL's Powell River Kings. Jeff and Tyler continue to broadcast regular season games, with Jeff also calling the BCMML All-Star game in January 2012. All home-games are streamed live via CaribooCougars.ca and are available free of charge. If you can't make the trip to Kin 1 to catch the games live, Jeff and Tyler's coverage of the game live online is the next best thing. Keep up to date with all the happenings surrounding the team with the Cougar Online pre-game show 15 minutes prior to puck drop, and then stay with the broadcast all the way through as Jeff and Tyler bring you all the action on the ice, and informative interviews and segments off it.
