The Cariboo Cougars would like to extend congratulations to the City of Prince George, in particular Andy Beesley and Wade Loukes for their hard work and devotion to bringing the 2015 Canada Winter Games to the city of Prince George. The announcement was made in Vancouver this morning, as Prince George beat out Kamloops and Kelowna for the games. At the previous Canada Winter Games in 2007 in Whitehorse, former Cariboo Cougar Ryan Howse represented Team BC in Ice Hockey.
