The Cariboo Cougars are pleased to unveil the schedule for the 2011 Tryout Camp, running August 4th-7th. Around 100 players are expected to try out for the 2011 edition of the Cariboo Cougars, a team which has made it to the final the last two years. Looking to take the next step and win the league for the 2nd time in league history, hard work, dedication and talent will be required to make it to the next stage.

The camp begins on Thursday August 4th with the goalies taking the ice (only if necessary due to numbers). Main camp begins Friday evening with check in at 5:15pm and drills until almost midnight. Camp continues Saturday with fitness testing, and wrapping up on Sunday with a pair of games. Also during the weekend, a mandatory player/parents meeting with go over financial details as well as some exciting announcements about the Cougars organization for the upcoming season.

Following the camp, the remaining players will be invited back for training camp during the Labour Day long weekend in September. From there, the exhibition schedule begins and final releases occur before a regular schedule begins with the final 22 players.
