The Cariboo Cougars will play host to a pre-season tournament, featuring the Thompson Blazers and Valley West Hawks to kick off the 2011/2012 season.

The 3-team tournament begins Friday September 9th, and wraps two days later on September 11th. The Blazers will be looking to improve from last season's performance, in which they managed only 1 win and 1 tie from 40 games. The Hawks and the Cougars battled it out in the semi-finals back in March, with the Cougars taking advantage of a depleted Hawks lineup to advance to the finals.
