Began playing hockey in Grande Prairie Alberta and moved to 100 Mile house for his 1st year Pee Wee. He played spring hockey with BC Interior Selects, Petcetera Bulldogs and The Canadian Wolves. Brett played the 2009/10 season with the Notre Dame AAA Bantam Hounds in Wilcox Saskatchewan. In January he suffered a broken leg that ended his season.
WHL drafted in the 5th round by the Regina Pats. Brett’s strengths include: Great speed, excellent puck pursuit, strong forchecker, physical. He has put points on the board in all levels of hockey. He is very proud to have achieved his goal and play for the Cariboo Cougars.
