Levon put skates on at age 4 in a small town rink and continued to play hockey, at the rep level, after a move to Quesnel several years later. Levon has a reputation on the ice; soccer fields and in the lacrosse arena as a fierce competitor. Levon has uncanny hand/eye co-ordination and continues today to find that angle to the net. Levon honed his skills playing street hockey up against his older brother and his friends – they didn’t take it easy on him.
Levon has faced some disappointments, when a knee injury kept him out of the draft in his Bantam year which made him somewhat an unknown; however, the Cariboo Cougars gave him a chance and Levon proved himself and has earned an ‘A’ in his second year with the team. It goes without saying that the players at this level have successful backgrounds without the need for listing all their achievements. They wouldn’t be playing for the Cariboo Cougars unless they were proven well rounded athletes. Levon is no different, he has played on rep teams; played and won at the provincial level and participated in U16 and U17 competitions in several sports.
Levon is content to be the play maker and proud to be part of the Cariboo Cougars team.
