| TREVOR SPRAGUE (HEAD COACH) |
 |
Trevor is entering his 5th year coaching the Cariboo Cougars. He is proud to represent the North and the Major Midget League throughout the province. Each year he has brought forward a hockey team that is competitive, dedicated, and respected throughout the league. This team has incredible staff that work untold hours behind the scenes to make sure the players get the highest quality training, support, and programming available to them, on and off the ice.
Outside of the Cariboo Cougars, Trevor has been a regional scout for the Portland Winterhawks for three years. This past summer he was a team leader for the U17 Team Pacific. This was a great opportunity to work with exceptional coaches, evaluators, and a gifted group of players that have potential to play in the NHL in the near future.
There is a long line of Cariboo Cougar Alumni who have set the bar high for the players coming into this season. Being part of this team requires dedication, teamwork, pride, and sacrifice. Although success on the scoreboard is always a goal, it is essentially the quality of the relationships that get built over the year, the experiences that we share, and the memories that we'll take with us.
Trevor is a passionate and dedicated Boston Bruins fan - 2011 STANLEY CUP CHAMPS!!!!! At home, and often at the rink, he is strongly supported by his lovely daughters Julianne, age 7, and Katherine, age 5. He is thankful for an unusually forgiving and amazing wife, Jessie, that supports his passion and allows him to roam freely throughout the province with minimal supervision (thank you Andy). |

Bryan is relocating to Prince George to further both his teaching and coaching career. Bryan will be teaching Grade 7 this school year, and is very enthusiastic in teaching both on and off the ice. He views coaching as not only a chance to teach hockey skills, but also to develop young people into good citizens, so that they can become successful in all aspects of their future. Outside of hockey, Bryan can be found playing hockey himself, or watching it on TV. During the summer, he enjoys being back home in Nova Scotia spending time with family and friends, as well as, spending time on the golf course.
Bryan is excited for the upcoming season; working with a team that historically is very competitive will prove to be a very positive experience. He is also excited to work with such a dedicated staff, which over the past few years have built a program that is focused on developing both hockey players and young men. |
